I'm looking into getting a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens, which hopefully will provide some better shooting capabilities in the future.
Also, I've been thinking about getting into taking photos of dolls.
I'm very intrigued by the shots of
She has amazing talent and I love the possibilities created by shooting dolls. For one, it gives you the chance to take "portraits" with a subject that is totally customizable. Also, it allows you to put the subject in whatever position you want. Besides, you get to work with the subject whenever you feel like it, rather than trying to set up a photo shoot with someone who has to fit you into their schedule.
Let me know what you think about my idea. At the moment, the only things holding me back are the cost issue (the one I'm looking at would cost about $400) and the fact that guys don't usually "play with dolls."
